    Job DescriptionDescription:

    We are looking for a hard-working and flexible candidate to join our Team as a Forklift Operator Laborer. You'll get to work with skilled workers and strong field leadership. Our laborers perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of the site.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Participates in daily safety meeting.
    • Participate in Job Safety Analysis
    • Assist skilled workers as assigned. This may include job such as rigging, tagline duty, spotter duty, carrying lumber and materials.
    • Unloads materials that are delivered such as boxes, pallets, lumber, posts, bags of cement, and other consumables and distributes them to appropriate locations as identified by a supervisor, project plans, or specifications.
    • Assists in preparing layout area where lifting and handling, storage, and ground clearing operations will take place.
    • Prepares layout area where construction will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
    • Prepares tools and materials for skilled workers.
    • Cleans and performs specific areas of jobsite as assigned, this may include digging trenches; cleaning up ruble, debris, and trash; or removing hazardous materials.
    • Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
    • Directs traffic near, in, or around work zones.
    • Signals equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
    • Performs housekeeping of work area and site location.
    • Performs other job related duties.
    Requirements:
    • Sufficient written and verbal communication skills
    • Sufficient organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Team-driven attitude
    • Ability to work with a diverse team.
    • Must have a valid ID

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma preferred
    • At least one year of related crane and rigging field experience preferred.
    • At least one year of experience working around heavy equipment preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods in potential extreme weather.
    • Must be able to frequently climb up and down a ladder for heights up to 20 feet while possibly carrying loads.
    • Must be able to enter and exit tight areas for purpose of rigging loads.
    • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
    • Must be able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.
