    Put your valuable skills to work and join usSummaryThe Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing critical raw material supply to ensure consistent flow of materials for production needs and best value to LSPI.

    This is a leadership role responsible for managing supplier relationships and raw material specialist(s) personnel. Other responsibilities include the development and execution of strategic plans and processes for raw material supply synergies.
    ResponsibilitiesMaintain supplier relationship management through supply strategy, contingency planning, price, logistics, and supplier agreements.
    Serve as Point of Contact and manage supplier relationships with potential and existing critical raw material suppliers.
    Monitor key market supply/demand for Petrochemical derivatives in commodities and specialty chemicals.

    Manage raw material supply to ensure supply security, cost savings, and cost avoidance in supply strategy to ensure value creation.

    Provides forecasting based on market analysis and recommends future supply strategy for long term planning.
    Seek effective logistics and transportation management of raw material supply to promote best value.
    Manage internal and external communications on status of supply strategy while proactively seeking input from key departments.
    Promote collaboration and obtain buy-in with key stakeholders to ensure execution of supply strategy.
    Provide an interface between the business management and supplier base.
    Oversee raw material specialist(s) scheduling and procurement functions.
    Mentor, coach, train, and develop direct reports. Evaluate work performance, promote developing and sustaining high-performance work team.

    Work directly with Global Procurement Manager on implementing/driving strategical/tactical business initiatives, provide summary status reports (Metrics and KPIs), and present supply synergies.

    Provide long term forecast to critical major suppliers, working with key internal stakeholders.

    Perform marketplace analysis activities and create/amend/negotiate major supply agreements for LSPI.Work cross-functionally with R&D, Legal, Risk, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to mitigate risk.

    Assist with periodic raw material supplier audits to ensure supplier has adequate resources to sustain LSPI production requirements.
    Accountable for maintaining required Internal Control records, activities, and reports.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in supply chain management or business administration or equivalent preferred.10-15 years of supply chain experience in refining, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing industries, ideally in a leadership role.
