    POSITION TITLE

    Testing Center Specialist

    APPOINTMENT

    Appointed by the Chancellor of the College upon recommendation of the Vice Chancellor of Strategic Initiatives & External Affairs and Executive Director of Workforce

    LINE AND STAFF RELATIONSHIPS

    The Testing Center Specialist is a professional staff member who reports to the Assessment Center Coordinator. This role collaborates with other RPCC Testing Proctors, RPCC faculty and staff, the Executive Director of Workforce, and other college personnel.

    GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

    The Testing Center Specialist supports the Testing Center in data entry, proctoring, and coordinating assessment and testing services across all campuses and off-site projects.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND AUTHORITY

    · Maintain and enhance Assessment across all campuses.

    · Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.

    · Verify the identity and eligibility of testing candidates.

    · Maintain strict security and inventory of testing materials.

    · Manage chain of custody for various testing formats.

    · Assist with data entry for Assessment.

    · Secure logins, passwords, and access to online testing systems.

    · Monitor testing rooms to uphold security and conduct standards.

    · Collaborate with technical support for IT issues.

    · Maintain equipment and technology for operational readiness.

    · Prepare and submit required reports.

    · Attend training sessions to uphold testing program quality.

    · Maintain Testing Center information on the RPCC website.

    · Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

    · Develop and supervise the RPCC Workforce Testing Monitor.

    · Collaborate with departments and faculty on external assessment processes.

    · Maintain documentation and adhere to testing guidelines set forth by Louisiana.

    PERFORMS ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Associate Degree's degree

    · Substitution: High School diploma and 2 years of customer service experience

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience in higher education, Testing Center operations, and/or test proctoring

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude

    · Public relations and customer service principles.

    · Process management, organization, and project management.

    · Systems thinking and process improvement.

    · Data-driven decision-making.

    · Computer-based testing environment and Learning Management Systems.

    · Postsecondary institution operations.

    · Administration, reporting, and accountability principles.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry.

    · Strong public relations and customer service skills.

    · Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities.

    · Initiative, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

    · Flexibility to meet testing center needs.

    · Willingness to travel.
