- Location: Spokane, WA
- Pay Range: $ $58.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Variable based on patient care needs)
- Contract: 480-hour initial contract with intent to hire
- Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments and coordinate vital data with anesthesia and OR teams.
- Recovery Management: Monitor post-operative vital signs, manage pain and nausea, and intervene during arrhythmias or adverse changes.
- Technical Excellence: Initiate IV fluids, interpret EKGs and diagnostic tests, and ensure safe medication administration.
- Patient Advocacy: Provide individualized instructions to families and conduct 48-hour follow-up calls to ensure recovery success.
- Operations: Maintain accurate patient charts, manage logbooks, and assist with inventory and supplies.
- Licensure: Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: A strong understanding of the nursing process, medication administration, and emergency response.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Mindset: An independent worker who thrives in fast-paced settings and maintains a sharp focus on patient safety.
