    Responsibilities:

    • Take on programmatic responsibilities in Nursing, and influence recommendation, development and implementation of policy & procedures; equipment standardization; capital planning; standard work measures; recruitment & retention efforts; process improvement initiatives
    • Approve procedures/protocols as required.
    • Develops, monitors and revises functional processes.
    • Provides input into the development and revision of organizational structure for areas of responsibility. Approves personnel actions, such as hires, fires and disciplines.
    • Ensures the timely completion of performance appraisals. This influence is limited to the site level. Specifically, the position identifies the need for policy development and/or revision, defines policies in collaboration with higher-level management input, goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement goals with clear measurable KPIs so they can be tracked accordingly
    • Develops and monitors budget for areas of responsibility.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Masters degree in Nursing. Masters degree is highly preferred
    • A minimum of seven years of progressive clinical experience with experience managing teams
    • Current Michigan Registered Nurse ( RN) License
    • Strong analytical ability to identify problems and create solutions that meet stakeholder expectations across a number of issues and concerns that may arise
    • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak with internal stakeholders, subordinates, patients and families.
    • Broad technical knowledge of the administration and operations of healthcare functions and facilities including human, legal, technological, fiscal and customer aspects of the delivery of care.
    • Strong Project Manager skills including project definition, identify stakeholders, plan the appropriate steps and coordinate the teams to complete the project.
