    This position is for an Engineering First Line
    Manager (FLM) to support the Command &
    Control, Digital Signal Processing, and
    Information Operations (C2, DSP, & IO)
    organization for the Rotary Mission Systems
    Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization
    based in Valley Forge PA
    C2, DSP, & IO has an established history of
    prototyping, systems engineering, and software
    development for DoD and IC customers in
    support of the warfighter
    Our programs straddle
    the intersection of Radio Frequency Enabled
    Cyber/Electronic Warfare convergence and
    deliver capabilities like Cyber Electromagnetic
    Activities, Software Defined Radios, and Military
    & Commercial Communication Protocols
    As an FLM, on a day to day basis you would be

    responsible for:

    • Managing technical planning, system
    integration, verification and validation, cost and
    risk, and supportability and effectiveness
    analyses for total systems.


    • Responsible for coordinating subordinate
    employee recruitment, selection and training,
    performance assessment, work assignments,
    salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.


    • Involved in all aspects of functional,
    programmatic and technical coordination and
    execution of the programs their employees
    support
    This includes managing content across
    multiple agile development teams and engaging
    with functional and program leadership regularly.


    • The Associate Manager will also hold a
    technical, programmatic role, in addition to their
    FLM responsibilities

    Basic Qualifications:

    • In depth understanding of systems engineering
    and/or software engineering principles


    • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with
    systems or software engineering activities on
    real-time systems


    • Proven leadership experience in engineering
    assignments and successful proven results in
    leading and executing multi discipline programs


    • Deep understanding of the Engineering
    development process


    • Ability to multi-task, outstanding effective
    interpersonal skills, and a consistent track record
    of teambuilding

    Desired Skills:

    • Prior experience and/or knowledge of the
    C6ISR or Spectrum Convergence domain


    • Experience with fast-paced, agile software
    development programs


    • Prior Lead Systems Engineering/project
    engineering/management experience


    • Current Top-Secret Clearance with an
    investigation within 6 years


    • Proposal or Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM)
    experience

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
