    Job Description Overview


    • PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Area: TEST BASE SYSTEM AND EMULATION PLATFORM


    • Setting up bench/testers, performing measurements, processing data, analyzing results, partnering with design/product engineers to debug issues using lab equipment (o-scope, power meter, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator) and Statistical Analysis tools (Excel).


    • Achieves individual and team goal set per schedule.


    • As required, prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.


    • May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.


    • Be person in charge of assigned product/ project.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:


    • Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, digital and analog circuit analysis techniques, fundamental statistics.


    • Solid understanding of RF principles, RF engineering tools.


    • Solid understanding of cellular radio building blocks.


    • Familiar with lab equipment o-scope, spectrum analyzer, signal analyzer


    • Understanding of production test and failure analysis techniques for high volume manufacturing.


    • Ability to work within a group and with cross functional groups with good operational flexibility.


    • Strong written and verbal and interpersonal skills.

    PREFERENCES:


    • Working knowledge of general RF measurements like IP3, NF, ACPR, etc.


    • Trace loss measurements and knowledge of RF matching is a plus.


    • Ability to work under pressure to meet product introduction schedules.


    • Self-motivated individual to work in assertive team environment.
