    Come work for a growing restaurant group at a Polished Casual, scratch kitchen in the Folsom / El Dorato Hills area

    The Sous Chef will oversee line and prep operations and take pride at leading the team in upholding high food quality and cleanliness standards.

    As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests, as well as create of fun and uplifting staff culture in the kitchen.

    Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development

    • Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
    • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
    • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
    • Collaborate with the frontofhouse staff to ensure seamless service
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Proven experience in a similar role within the culinary industry
    • Strong knowledge of food service management and kitchen operations
    • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary trends
    • Familiarity with shift management and scheduling processes
