- Mental Health First Aide Certification
- First Aide/CPR Certification (current or willingness to obtain via Girl Scouts)
- Living on camp during summer season (Optional)
- Food is provided during training and when camp is in session
- Manage the daily operations of the camp food and dining service including coordinating activities between the kitchen and dining room.
- Ensure compliance with state & local health regulations and procedures and the policies and procedures of American Camp Association, Girl Scouts of the USA, and Girl Scouts of Western Washington.
- Oversee the planning and preparation of nutritionally balanced camp meals, snacks, and pack-out food.
- Oversee the inventory of food, equipment, and supplies and arrange for the routine maintenance, sanitation, and upkeep of the camp kitchen, its equipment, and facilities in coordination with the Site Manager
- Support administrative and human-resource functions with regard to kitchen staff including scheduling, coordination, supervision, and performance management.
- Minimum age 25 years, preferred
- Must hold or be willing to attain Washington State Food Worker Card
- Must hold or be willing to obtain Servsafe Certification
- Experience in institutional or large food service setting
- Knowledge of and experience in preparation of special dietary foods
- Experience in supervision
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (training available at camp)
- Valid Washington State driver's license (or ability to obtain one) and excellent driving record preferred
- Satisfactory results from criminal background search

Description
This summer, Girl Scouts of Western Washington (GSWW) is offering the exciting opportunity for staff to experience summer at a beautiful lakefront camp property in Western Washington. Camp staff will live on-site at Camp St. Albans, at the base of the Olympic mountains on Lake Devereaux in Allyn, Washington. Camp staff will attend paid staff training.
The Food Service Supervisor directs the overall food-service operation of the camp including purchasing, preparation, nutrition, service, sanitation, security, personnel management, customer service, and record keeping. This position begins June 6th and lasts until August 20th.
