Hollywood Long Term Reentry Recovery is looking for an Assistant Cook in our residential program for the ex-offender population. The position may become regular/full time. The appropriate candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Collaborate effectively with team members

Responsibilities :

• Asst. Cook must comply with kitchen operations to be in compliance with County Health Department and our contracting agency.
• Following pre-approved menu
• Portion Control
• Kitchen Cleanliness
• Prep and cook food that is tasty, pleasing to the eye and healthy.
• Prep and cook special diet food that is tasty, pleasing to the eye and healthy.
• Must be able to work some holidays and weekend day.
• 40 hours per week.

Military veteran, retired law enforcement, and other experiences in a correctional facility are welcomed and encouraged to apply
