Job summary
Responsible for performing MRI exams generating quality images for diagnostic purposes. Escorts patient to and from exam and imaging rooms Prepares patients for imaging procedures to include complete screening process with patient safety in mind.
+Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Patient Care/Imaging: Escorted patient to and from exam and imaging rooms Prepped patients for imaging procedures to include complete screening process with patient safety in mind Took images following established procedures for patient care and safety reviewed images made quality adjustments and made images available to physician for review on computer system Communicated concerns about imaging results to Radiologists so that further diagnostic decisions can be madePrepared administered contrast materials when indicated instructed patients accordingly Ensured equipment is in working order completed/maintained maintenance records as required Troubleshot problems with equipment or software contacted service providers when problems required a service call Performed QA procedures according to instrument manufacturer's recommendations Accurate timely completion of documentation facilitated accurate billing for imaging pt flow through clinic Provided imaging studies record release as requested by staff pts documented appropriately Imaging rooms cleaned stocked w necessary supplies communicated supply needs as needed Seeks out assignments added duties opportunities learn assigned work complete pt census workload permits fill downtime productively Proposed new ideas suggestions sought opportunities improve processes workflow appropriate channels Attempted problem solve assigned work disrupted equipment down etc before involving supervisor Worked cooperatively refrained participating negative conversations Shared knowledge insights coworkers constructive manner Worked solve problems address conflicts person directly involving leadership uninvolved peers Was considerate others work environment regard taking breaks meal periods use computer phone noise level department etc Knows complies policies enumerated Orthopedic One Employee Handbook policies documents Assisted support leadership implementing policies docs necessary Actively participated training conducting day day activity adhering all policies enumerated compliance risk management programs Graduate accredited Radiologic Technology MRI training program current State license professional registry ARRT Radiology MRI graduate accredited MRI Technologist program along w ARRT MR registry Maintained CPR/AED certification Contingent Day Shift
