    Responsibilities


    This position contributes to the mission and vision of CHI Health by assuring the provision of behavioral health services to clients within the community.

    The psychologist position takes accountability for assuring that psychological services are delivered in a professional and competent manner. The psychologist is an integral part of the continuum of mental health and addictions recovery services.

    Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:

    • Evaluates and assesses the bio-psycho-social needs of patients.
    • Provides standardized administration and interpretation of approved psychological testing within the inpatient and outpatient settings when indicated.
    • Responds to client request for information/support in a timely manner.
    • Ensures proper authorizations are obtained for patients.
    • Provides written psychological evaluations.
    • Provides psychotherapy to adults, children, and adolescents as needed.
    • Provides conjoint and/or family therapy, as needed.
    • Provides crisis intervention services when required.
    Qualifications

    Experience

    A minimum of five years of progressive experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.

    Education/Licensure

    A Ph.
    D. in clinical, counseling or educational psychology from an APA accredited school is required.

    Must have a current license as a Psychologist in Nebraska
