    Sterling Medical Staffing Group is seeking full-time CT Technologists to become part of our team and to provide services at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE.

    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm


    Requirements:
    Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by AHA or ARC

    Certification:
    Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography and Computed Tomography

    Experience:
    HCW must have experience in

    performing/assisting

    with fluoroscopy, arthrography, special examinations and Computed Tomography. Prior experience with auto injector operation and ability to start intravenous lines for contrast administration are required.
    Board Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography and Computed Tomography.

    Licensure/Registration:
    Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska.

    Job Duties:
    Precept x-ray students and train new personnel.

    Interpret orders, assess clinical history to determine the most effective protocol, understands and screens patients for contraindications prior to contrast use, adjusts imaging parameters, performs digital and 3D reconstructions as required and presents optimal images to radiologist for interpretation.

    Prepare and administer all forms of contrast media and routes of entry.

    Operate, adjust auto injector and injection rates, and inform radiologists when conflicts exist and recognize and respond to contrast reaction.

    Identify abnormalities during examinations and equipment testing, determine need for additional scans of affected areas and notify radiologist of scans requiring immediate attention.
