    CereCore is seeking a Product Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. This individual will work at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

    Summary:

    The Product Analyst for Support Services Applications serves as subject matter expert and connection point between business stakeholders, vendor, and IT support for applicable technologies. The scope of applications included for this role include both existing and yet-to-be defined products. The product analyst's main responsibilities include requirement gathering, application support and issue resolution, and product improvement.

    In this position you will:
    • MIDAS+ - Vendor supported client-server application operating as a rules-based workflow engine, and repository for tracking all case management activities


    • MEDITECH/Expanse/Epic/Cerner - HL7 and FTP bi-directional real-time or batch interfaces for synchronizing information being captured in both application systems.


    • Careport Discharge– Integrated web application for managing communications with external providers and other entities.


    • InterQual – Externally hosted HTTPS application for managing patient care while staying in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    70%-diagnosis and provide resolution of application and hardware related issues.


    • Work with other internal and external ITG resources to diagnose and resolve system issues. Good problem solving skills is a must.


    • Proactive and able to identify potential issues and can come up with solutions that can be shared with supervisor.


    • Research and resolve issues identified in application systems and interfaces.


    • Assist in the deployment of enhancements and other changes in the organization.


    • Work with ITG representatives to ensure activities are completed correctly and on schedule.

    20%-Provide assistance for coordination of deployment and configuration activities.


    • Assist with technical activities at corporate and in the field associated with the deployment of any technologies used by Case Managers, CDI, and Utilization Review teams in HCA facilities.


    • Understands change management processes and can work with ITG representatives in corporate office to ensure completed code is migrated properly from one environment to another.


    • Provide assistance and input for development of the Case Management reporting and monitoring efforts.


    • Support the Midas implementations in newly acquired facilities.

    10%-Communication


    • Provide research and resolution of issues identified in the application and interfaces.


    • Keep team and team manager updated on active issues and efforts to resolve.


    • Work closely with team members to translate highly technical information and activities into meaningful knowledge to support decision making of ITG and Business Technology leaders.

    • Requirements:5+ years relevant work experience
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • The ideal candidate for this position has an IT product analysis background with strong communication skills with various audiences, and ability to guide other team members in project tasks.
    • Software implementations experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
    • Understanding of HL7, data transfers, and communication between disparate hospital systems is a plus.
    • Midas experience is a plus.
    • MEDITECH 5.6, Expanse, Cerner, EPIC or other equivalent HIM systems experience is necessary.
