    Job Summary: Subject Matter Expert for designated program activities and personnel related to U.S. Army training management and training execution in support of future system development, testing, and production.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Lead and manage assigned programs

    • Supervise personnel (CESI & subcontractors) and assign tasks and responsibilities to the team
    • Formulate and communicate policies & procedures
    • Develop and execute project schedules
    • Manage risk mitigation strategies
    • Develop long-term and strategic objectives to help ensure that end-user requirements will be satisfied in future years of the contract

    Implement U.S Army doctrine and TTP used to plan, test, and demonstrate software and system capability.

    • Plan, conduct, and attend necessary exercise planning meetings to coordinate exercise, test, and training support to include subject matter experts (SMEs)
    • Review, interpret and implement directives and training objectives in executing the training, testing, or demonstration plan.
    • Review and validate current U.S. Army doctrine and support exercise plan development training materials.
    • Support the design and creation of software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporate various software applications and tools.
    • Oversee unit testing, configuration item and system-level tests, and support verification/validation testing as required.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate system test, training, and demonstration events

    Work closely with the customer, development staff, and system engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and software and hardware implementation.

    • Present information briefings on military exercises; provide input for training exercises and testing; analyze exercise requirements and unit training objectives.
    • Ensure team compliance with the Department of the Army and appropriate local agency policies and procedures.

    Required Education/Experience:

    • Fifteen (15+) years of recent U.S. Army experience with significant staff experience at the Battalion or higher level.
    • Experience with U.S. Army simulation training systems
    • Ability to establish an effective working relationship with senior-level customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
    • Exceptional communication abilities with a demonstrated capability to coordinate and align efforts between government customers, executives, subcontractors, and team members.
    • Proficiency in computer usage and analyzing comprehensive financial reporting. Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and EVMS principles, including integration of cost and schedule information

    Desired Skills/Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems, or software engineering from an accredited college or university
    • PMI-PMP certification or equivalent
    • PMI-ACP and understanding the AGILE method of software development
    • Experienced knowledge of Federal Government acquisition processes including FAR, DID, CDRLS, etc.
