    Summary: - Sunnyvale, Bay Area, San DiegoThe CWAM is looking to hire for one of the 2 following positions:


    JD- System EngineerConduct system performance and architectural analysis encompassing CPU/MIPS, bus bandwidth and latency assessments, user experience/game performance evaluations, and memory utilization studies for both current and upcoming chipsets to fulfill product requirements across various subsystems within the SoC.Utilize performance tools to examine load patterns among IPs, pinpoint any performance constraints within the system, and evaluate performance KPIs of various VR SoC subsystems (CPU, GPU, NSP, memory, camera, display, video) to correlate performance with projections.

    Enhance performance and memory usage through software optimizations, SW/HW partitioning adjustments, cache/TCM sizing modifications, etc.
    Familiar with lab setup, power measurement equipment (DAQs etc).Knowledge of SoC design, voltage rails, power domains clocks etc.
    Preferred QualificationsExperience in multi-layer, use-case driven power modeling-of HW. Familiarity with performance/power tools.
    Experience programming in C, C++ or Python.
    Experience working effectively as an individual and in a multidisciplinary team.
    Experience of dealing with ambiguity with a fast changing consumer electronics field.
    Results oriented, self-motivated, proactive with demonstrated creative & critical thinking.

    JD- Video Engineer

    Troubleshoot real time communication systems, related to video and audio codecs, cameras, displays, and microphones.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand features, operation, and specify enhancements.
    Optimizing and improving video codec efficiency, encode rate control*** speed, video, pre/post-processing and error resilience.
    Debugging and diagnosing the quality of end-to-end video experience for different use cases in real-time communication scenarios.


    Preferred QualificationsMasters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.2+ years experience with video codec standards like H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, VP8/VP9, AV1Experience in RTC/WebRTC or video with networking.

    Experience with live streaming applications including one or more ingestion protocols such as RTMP, RIST, SRT, ZixiExperience with drafting or modifying video encodersExperience with technical broadcast contribution pipelines:
    Path (redundant, diverse), transcoding settings, captions/subtitles, etc.
    Experience building FFmpeg filters or have worked with FFmpeg APIs.
    Experience with OpenCL, DirectX and Client Media SDK programming.
    Experience with Android Media SDK.Experience designing power-efficient software for mobile or embedded systems.


    VR - look into camera pipeline end to end - offloading some of the workDownscaling within the CPU- camera specific person- Senior Levelfull knowledge of qual com.

    Identify where the bottlenecks are and correctmap all the pipelines (self-guided and self-motivated)know about qaulcom camera stack and qualcom ISP-development experience NOT testing experienceMinimum 2+ years with snapdragon
