We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Insurance Roofing Sales representative to join our team. As an Insurance Roofing Salesperson, you will be primarily responsible for selling roofing services to homeowners and businesses, focusing on clients who have insurance coverage for roof repairs or replacements. Your duties will include prospecting and generating leads, conducting roof inspections and assessments, providing estimates, negotiating with insurance adjusters, and closing high-value sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and generate leads through various channels such as referrals, online platforms, local events, and partnerships with insurance agencies and adjusters.
2. Conduct roof inspections, assessments, and evaluations to determine required repairs or replacements.
3. Educate potential clients on the roofing services offered, including the benefits of upgrading to higher-quality materials and energy-efficient solutions.
4. Provide accurate estimates and quotes based on the scope of work required and specific insurance coverage.
5. Collaborate with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate claim filing, negotiation, and approval processes.
6. Maintain a deep knowledge of insurance policies and coverage details to communicate and negotiate with adjusters effectively.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, insurance agencies, adjusters, and suppliers.
8. Stay updated with advancements, trends, and market changes in the roofing and insurance industries.
9. Collaborate with the roofing operations team to ensure smooth and successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
10. Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
11. Regularly update and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer details, and related communications in the company CRM system.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record in sales, preferably in the roofing industry or insurance field.
2. Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
3. Familiarity with insurance policies, claims, and adjuster processes related to roofing repairs and replacements.
4. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence potential clients and insurance adjusters.
5. Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities.
6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in both office and field environments.
8. Proficiency in using technology and software tools, such as customer relationship management systems and roofing estimating software.
9. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry advancements and changes.
10. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations and job sites.
