Job SummaryUnder the work coordination of the Custodial Supervisor, the job of the Custodian

• Floater is to maintain an assigned school plant, group of buildings, or office space in a clean, orderly, and secure manner.

The Custodian Floater is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment at a variety of sites throughout the District.
Requirements / QualificationsJob-related experience in a school or related environment is required.

Candidates who pass the exam are placed on an eligibility list in order of exam score. The list is used to fill current and future vacancies for six months. If a candidate has taken the multiple choice test for this San Dieguito Union High School District job title or similar job title within the past two years, candidate may be able to transfer the scores to this recruitment. The exam must be sufficiently similar, as determined by the Director, Classified Personnel.
