    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) Project Engineer. This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
    Maintaining SMT Battle Rhythm through cross-functional integration
    Supplier facing integration between NG team & Major Subsystems Subcontractor
    Integration between NG Global Supply Chain and NG Engineering teams for Engineering Change Proposals
    Coordinating between Systems Engineering, PM&P Engineering, Software Engineering, Design Engineering, Mission Assurance / Quality, and program management.
    Reports to the SMT Lead
    Lead on Change Requests throughout SMT Life Cycle
    Coordination between SMT RE and internal NG Stakeholders for defining requirements of change.
    Identifying correct subcontractor baseline documentation to flow change requests to
    Coordinating with subcontractor and NG Global Supply Chain on Proposal Submission to NG
    Coordinating with SMT RE for Tech Eval post Proposal receipt
    Coordinating with GSC and subcontractor for negotiation timeline
    Supporting contract mod negotiations with Subcontractor
    Travel required up to 25% of time.
    Engineer (T02 Level): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field with 2 years of experience or master's degree with 0 years of experience

    Principal Engineer (T03 Level): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field with 5 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience.

    Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.

    Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Ability to understand engineering challenges, coordinate with NG Engineering team in identifying paths for resolution, and driving engineering execution.

    Ability to take complex technical challenges and decomposing the information into chart packages to brief to program management & leadership team.

    Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and development life cycle.
    Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.)
    Experience with subcontractors on DoD programs.
    CAM or Earn Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
    Experience with CAMEO/Model Based Systems Engineering, DOORs, or CPLM systems.
