Job Role: ETL Project Manager

Location: Madison, Wisconsin 5370

(Onsite or Hybrid or Remote): Can be a mix of both onsite and 100% remote work.

(Relocation Allowed or Relocation not Allowed): Not applicable.

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months with a chance of extension.

Full Job Description:

Handle technical and project aspects of large-scale BI applications within the organization.
Create project plans, deliverables, and necessary documents.
Work closely with project sponsors and senior IT management to prioritize tasks and address complex technical issues.
Guide project teams to achieve milestones and set standards for BI systems and documentation.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and explore new technologies for BI solutions.
Participate in special projects when needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 12 years of experience in managing complex BI systems projects.
Strong background in change management (at least 5 years).
Proficient in technical writing and documentation (over 10 years).
Excellent skills in analysis, problem-solving, and communication (at least 10 years).
Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook (over 10 years).
Experience with MS Project (minimum 3 years), Informatica (at least 5 years), and data warehouse development (minimum 5 years).
Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principles (at least 5 years).
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables for each project phase (at least 5 years).
Proven experience in requirements analysis and gathering (at least 5 years).
Experience with Business Objects or similar BI tools (at least 5 years).

Preferred:

Prior exposure to State of Wisconsin privacy regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in performance metrics and reporting (minimum 3 years).
