    About the role:

    We at CBRE are currently seeking a Net Zero Sr. Program Manager. The Program Manager will support the measurable reduction of embodied carbon across a global fleet of hyperscale data centers in an effort to reach our clients "NET ZERO Goals" The Program Manager will provide technical and administrative support to the client's Net Zero Program Team. This includes tasks such as data collection and analysis, report writing, and outreach. A strong understanding of industrial building construction, building design engineering / architecture, and very strong experience in measuring embodied carbon and related sustainability principles.

    What you will do:

    • Collaborate with architects, building engineers, general contractors, and other external stakeholders to provide expert guidance and implement strategies that will significantly reduce or eliminate carbon emissions.
    • Identify opportunities for deployment of low-carbon materials and collaborate with partners to deploy and track their use.
    • Collaborate with construction contractors to gain a thorough understanding of implemented sustainability strategies and their commitments
    • Analyze existing RFP language and provide recommendations to clients and stakeholders for more sustainable practices in line with industry best practices.
    • Oversee the implementation of RFP changes and report out to key stakeholders on progress.
    • Track and report on implementation to ensure successful adoption of specs and
    • materials
    • Track Tier 1 and 2 supplier performance according to internal tracking systems

    • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture or related field. Masters degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience in environmental compliance and sustainability, with specific experience in data center construction or similar large-scale construction projects.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations, standards, and best practices related to construction, including air quality, water quality, soil, waste management, and
    • other environmental aspects.
    • Experience in contract management, including negotiation, review, and administration of contracts related to environmental services.
    • Strong analytical skills, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
