Job summary
This experienced registered nurse will supervise licensed practical nurses LPNs nursing aides and clerical staff under hospital administration chief nursing officer program director.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive admission assessments to gather presenting complaints history listing all medications ,
- Prepare patients medication administration record MAR listing all allergies ,
- Maintain patient confidentiality following organizations policies procedures federal state local laws regulations communicate calmly with patients family visitors situations require tact diplomacy provide prompt efficient responsive patient care effectively orally writing perform administrative duties according program policies procedures maintain regulatory requirements wear identification while duty complete in-services returns timely fashion attend staff meetings meet program standards observe client confidentiality respect protect legal rights apply professional principles procedures techniques evaluation treatment psychiatric patients develop interpersonal relationships clients keep clear concise written charts records patient activities care treatment progress follow hospital unit policies federal state local laws regulations use professional judgment determining appropriate treatment clients crisis communicate effectively oral writing provide prompt efficient responsive patient care
