    Direct Marketing Team Leader

    Renewal by Andersen of Kansas City and Central Missouri has experienced unprecedented growth over the last three years. To maintain this growth and success, we are looking to add another Team Leader to our Non-Traditional Marketing Department. The Direct Marketing team is nationally renowned, has an award-winning leadership team, and has a culture of positivity, success, and teamwork.     Purpose:

    The Direct Marketing Team Leader is a leadership position in the Non-Traditional Marketing Department which oversees three types of lead generation strategies while maintaining and exceeding pre-determined key performance indicators. Our lead generation strategies consist of Event Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Neighborhood Marketing. Event Marketing strategies include in-person activations at trade shows, fairs, festivals, sporting events, marquee events, and local community events. Retail Marketing strategies include in-person activations at grocery stores, hardware stores, home dcor stores, and other retail-type brick-and-mortar stores. Neighborhood Marketing strategies include door-to-door lead generation in neighborhoods that meet pre-determined demographic models.

    The Direct Marketing Team Leader hires, trains, coaches, and manages a team of Brand Ambassadors to generate leads and set appointments for our Design Consultant Team, cost-effectively and efficiently, while utilizing our Direct Marketing Methodology.

    Responsibilities:

    Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and managing a team of 10 15 Brand Ambassadors

    Administrative duties including payroll, tracking key performance indicators for team members, and corresponding with management/direct marketing team leaders

    In-Field training, coaching, shadowing Brand Ambassadors

    In-office training, coaching, and teaching Brand Ambassadors

    Meet or exceed skills, attitude, behavior, and results expectations

    Present an exceptional company image

    Sets an example for work ethic, integrity, teamwork, and decorum

    Ensure policies and guidelines are adhered to

    Scheduling and holding weekly/bi-weekly team meetings

    Adhering to key performance indicators, budgeting, and results implications

    Generating leads and setting appointments at events, retail stores, and canvassing

    Working with event coordinators, retail store managers and managing territory for neighborhood marketing

    Seek out and secure new events, retail stores, and neighborhoods for canvassing

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    2 3 years of events management, retail management, canvassing management, sales management, or marketing management

    Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, and attention to detail

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to self-manage resources to achieve objectives

    Ability to analyze the effectiveness of events activations, retail store activations, and canvassing activations

    Ability to understand marketing communications, sales promotions, and advertising

    Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills

    Demonstrated analytic skills

    Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office programs, especially reports and spreadsheets
