    Description

    Job Description

Akido is rebuilding the healthcare experience from the ground up. Through early interventions designed around social determinants of health (SDoH), world-class care focused on chronic disease, and human-centered technology, we believe we can build a healthcare model that allows for all patients to live their fullest lives. We are a fast-growing, impact-focused, Y Combinator company created out of the University of Southern California's D-Health Lab with the idea that empowering government, healthcare, and nonprofit services with population-based data could help usher in a new era of preventive public health. Today we are building a full stack medical network that leverages our predictive capabilities to provide a frictionless experience for both our patients and care providers.

    The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic AI Healthcare Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of our groundbreaking AI-led doctor visits. This role is crucial for enhancing our physician relationships and optimizing the implementation of our AI-enabled care program. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our technology with clinical operations, significantly impacting the way healthcare is delivered and experienced by patients and providers alike.

Akido Labs is pioneering AI-driven healthcare solutions to streamline outpatient specialist visits and free up valuable time for doctors. As an AI Care Program Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that our technology can deliver on its promise by overseeing frontline Care Guides, building strong relationships with our providers, and providing critical feedback on the product. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, making a tangible impact on patient care and physician efficiency.

    What You'll Do

    1. Lead Implementation: Direct the rollout of AI-led doctor visits, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and organizational goals. It is your job to make sure your team performs well and adheres to best practices.
    2. Physician Collaboration: Work closely with doctors to adapt and refine the AI technology according to real-world needs and feedback. Our providers trust you to guide them through a smooth implementation without disrupting their regular flow.
    3. Customer Success Focus: Prioritize the success of each implementation by managing expectations and fostering strong relationships with clinical staff. It's not successful if our major stakeholders don't think it is as well.
    4. Feedback Loop Management: Act as the critical link between healthcare providers and our product development teams, translating clinical feedback into actionable product improvements. Your input will guide the priorities for new features we release.
    5. Training and Support: Coordinate with the Care Guide team to provide training and ongoing support, enhancing the effectiveness of AI interactions during patient visits. You will onboard Care Guides, train them, and observe them to ensure we're meeting the standard set.
    6. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure and improve the impact of AI implementations on patient care and clinical efficiency. This will include weekly report outs that will be reviewed by company executives.

    What We're Looking For

    • Proven Experience: 6+ years of experience in healthcare program management, operations management, or technology implementation. You have a proven track record of project management and direct engagement with healthcare providers.
    • People Management: 2+ years of people management experience.
    • Automation Mindset: Always looking for ways to adopt new technologies to boost your team's performance and drive better results. At Akido, we believe in automating repetitive tasks so our staff can focus on higher-level challenges.
    • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication skills. You have a knack for connecting with colleagues and earning their trust.
    • Adaptable Innovator: Independent operator who thrives in rapidly evolving teams and is passionate about using technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

    Compensation

Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.

    Why Join Us

    • Competitive Benefits: Equity and benefits aligned with Series B companies
    • Accelerated Career Growth: Direct mentorship from industry leaders and opportunities for rapid advancement in a high-impact environment.
    • Meaningful Impact: Play a key role in pioneering a new standard for AI-enhanced healthcare that prioritizes patient well-being and access.
    • Advanced Tech Stack: Utilize the latest in AI and data analytics tools to forge new pathways in medical care.
    • Be Part of Something Revolutionary: Be a part of a company recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to transforming healthcare for the better.

This position is based in Los Angeles, CA, and requires onsite presence with flexibility as needed to support project demands and team collaboration. You will travel between clinics within about a 20-minute drive radius (mileage between clinics reimbursed).

Ready to step into a role that bridges technology and patient care at one of the most innovative healthcare companies today? Apply now to become a part of our mission-driven team reshaping the future of healthcare delivery.

    Salary range $110,000—$120,000 USD
