The Nurse Practitioner NP is a licensed provider responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations including diagnostic therapeutic interventions developing appropriate plans of care ongoing evaluation.Does this position require Patient Care Yes
Essential FunctionsProvides direct care counseling teaching to designated patient population in ambulatory inpatient operative procedural settingPerforms complete histories physical examinationsOrders interprets evaluates laboratory diagnostic testsDevelops appropriate plans of care follow-up based on outcomes diagnostic laboratory physical examination findingsConsistently provides high quality timely documentation including admission progress notes procedure notes operative notes discharge summariesPerforms bedside procedures as are appropriate to patient populationOrders medications writes prescriptions according to organizational regulatory policies procedures
