    We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Pomona, CA .


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
    Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal and external controls.

    Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure an efficient audit process, providing necessary information and addressing audit findings in a timely manner.

    Prepare reports on HR compliance activities for management and other external requirements.

    Accurately enter and update employee information in the HR systems, including personal detail, employment status, job roles, benefits, and other relevant data.

    Answering, assisting, or redirecting HR calls to appropriate departments.
    Daily sorting and distributing of incoming mail.
    Assist with new hire orientation for craft and non-craft personnel. Assists in developing and distributing materials new employees.
    Assist with background checks for new hires.
    Assist with I-9 documentation and other HR records.
    Possible travel to West Regional locations to support with new hire orientation.


    Qualifications:
    Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive employee information.

    Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent experience2 years of progressive experience in Human resources or a business-related field.

    Proficient in software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong organizational skills.
    Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
