Position Overview:
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Whitney Oaks Care Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a motivated and caring individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Assist residents in achieving their maximum level of independence in daily activities.
Provide individualized and group therapy sessions as prescribed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

Valid California state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
