    Leading the strategy, architecture and process improvements for data architecture and data management, balancing long and short-term needs of the businessDefining and maintaining a data information architecture and roadmapExperience with database performance tuning, areas of optimization and architectural improvements.

    Providing architectural advice and recommendations specific to internal customer requirementsDesigning, documenting, constructing and deploying database architecturesEvaluating data management solutions and create improvement plansEvaluating emerging technologies against business and strategic needsIntegrating technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, data backup, data retention, data accuracy, reliability, etc.) What you will need for working knowledge.

    At least one complete cycle of building a platform product from inception to large scale technical implementationsExpertise and demonstrated skills in design and implementation of an enterprise data model, metadata solution, data security solution, data management solutions and associated toolsExpertise in Data Warehousing, Data Management, Big Data, Analytics technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, RedShift or HadoopSolid skills in multiple areas of technology such as system design, database designSolid skills in Internet technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaSAdvanced expertise Analytics and working understanding of technologies such as R, SAS, Tableau, MicrostrategyExpertise in high volume, transactional environments with third party business system integrationsStrong ETL background using technologies such as DTS, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), command line and other technologies10+ years technical, enterprise or data architecture experienceStrong database design and development experience working in collaboration with full-stack developers and analytics teams What will be considered a plus.
