    Description

    We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our roster and play a pivotal role on the Information Technology team in supporting the organization. Reporting to the VP of Program Management, this position will lead companywide projects within the Program Management Office (PMO).

    This role will utilize best-in-class project management methodologies to support end-to-end management from initiating, planning, executing to reporting on initiatives supported by the PMO. Will develop and maintain project and process rigor to support large and complex projects that are directly tied to the organizations strategic goals and will build strong relationships with subject matter experts across the organization to ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet expectations of stakeholders and partners. This is a hybrid role in Southport, CT.

    (What you will do)

  • Effectively manage initiatives assigned by the PMO, which are aligned to the organization's strategic goals.
  • Work closely with cross functional departments to understand project requirements, align strategy, and formalize a project delivery schedule.
  • Execute project management resources effectively, ensuring the right tools and techniques are applied to each project.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, across assigned projects, from initiation to close, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business expectations.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budget.
  • Provide guidance and understanding of business process redesign to drive change to improve business outcomes.
  • Enhance the existing project management processes, tools, techniques, and templates to advance the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Report out using metrics, dashboards, and other tools to demonstrate the status of managed projects.
  • Foster a trusting relationship with teammates and all third-party vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • 8+ years of relevant professional work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • History of successfully delivering large-scale and complex IT and functional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to partner, execute and lead through collaboration to solve problems and generate results.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly resourceful and self-driven
  • Effective communication skills
  • Desired Skills:

  • Broad technical skills and understanding of IT Architecture
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with vendor management and implementations.
  • Experience with process management and process improvement techniques.
  • Change management skills (the people side of change)
  • The base salary compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
