    Prime Machine is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our growing teamThe position is to develop, maintain, and improve Quality policies and procedures.

    Perform internal audits our quality program and systems. Meet with independent quality auditors (Customer and Certification Auditors). Maintain existing and future certifications. Communicate Customer expectations and tracks the company's performance in meeting the expectations.

    What we hope the Quality Manager will do:
    Develops, maintains and improves the Quality Management System (QMS) for both Prime Machine. Including our Manuals and practicesAudits practices to maintain conformity to QMS. This includes all Prime Machine Procedures (PMPs).Establishes a Corrective Action Program and Preventive Action Program to affect permanent solutions.
    Attends weekly Sales Meeting. Provides Quality Training to Project Managers.
    Attends weekly Production Meeting. Provides Quality Training to Production and Area Managers. Trains others in their role in Quality at PMI and PFS.Performs Quality Inspections as needed. Helps determine Project Requirements and makes sure that Inspection Reporting is being completed as required. This may include producing Manufacturing and Quality Plans.
    Provides Area Managers with Materials needed for Quality and Skills Training for their Employees.
    Implements NCR tracking using Global Shop. Provides Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions as needed. Must make sure that the Corrective Actions are implemented correctly.
    Develops Document Revision Control Procedures and implements them with all Departments.
    Works with the Weld Department Manager to maintain ASME Weld Certifications.
    Works with all Department Managers to maintain our AS9100 and ISO-9001 Certifications.
    Meets with independent Quality Auditors. Provides documentation required by the AS9100 Certification and Customer AuditorsIn charge of all Material Review Board Activities.


    Physical Job Requirements:


    Ability to travel through the shop or designated work area walking, climbing on and around equipment, and lifting tools or components,Bending and crawling to obtain correct positions, andReaching and stretching for tools and equipment.

    What we are hoping to find in the ideal candidateComplete and thorough understanding of the principles of Quality Systems standards (ISO 9001, AS9100 and ASME R,U & S stamps)Someone who has created and established a quality program.

    IS9100 knowledgeBroad knowledge of Prime Machine process equipment, manufacturing principles, mechanical design, and business practices.
    Proficient with personal computer.
    Knowledge of geometric tolerance standards and their application to workable parts.
