Pool Grill Attendant

Start Date - Mid-Late May

Mount Vernon Country Club is currently seeking part-time pool grill attendants.

The pool is open 7 days per week for Members and Guests (weather permitting) from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This is the perfect summer job for local high school students and/or recent graduates. Schedule for this position will vary from week to week. The right candidate is outgoing, friendly, and able to multi-task in a busy food-service environment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following;

Complete daily pre-shift duties as directed by Supervisor
Ensure station is stocked, organized, and kept sanitary
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, Members and their Guests
Deliver exceptional service by consistently displaying high levels of attentiveness and promptness
Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, and at times the pool facility
Have a proactive approach to work and having a service-minded personality
Assist with setting up and breaking down various events and buffets
Must be able to be on feet throughout shift in an outdoor environment
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Food service experience preferred
