Check us out on the web Job DescriptionBrightspeed is looking for an Industrial Security Technician II to join our team As an Industrial Security Technician II you will be responsible for installation, inspection, and service of Life Safety, Security, Card Access and Video Surveillance products and services.
You will educate the customer on proper operation of equipment and make recommendations to customer for any upgrade or additional life safety needs.
As an Industrial Security Technician II your responsibilities will include:Installation, Service, and Inspections of Life Safety SystemsInstallation and service of Security SystemsInstallation and service of Card Access SystemsInstallation and service of Video Surveillance SystemsEducating customers on proper operations of systemsMaintain vehicle and company supplies and inventoryRecommend and perform any needed upgrades to customers' systemsComplete paperwork and invoicing of customer via Tech applicationMeet monthly up sales quota by recommending services to customerOther duties as assignedQualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experienceMust be qualified to be licensed in all states Brightspeed does business inMinimum two years' experience in installation, inspection, and service of Life Safety SystemsPreviously or currently hold a Louisiana Level 1 license and class D fire license.
Successful completion of on-the-job training, online courses, and testingExcellent and effective communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively manage situations without constant supervisionStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWillingness to be on work weekends, extended hours, and holidays as required to meet the needs of the businessExperience or training in the operations of all office equipmentStrong multi-tasking skillsBONUS POINTS FOR:
