Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Physical Education Teacher to join our team for the school year The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing physical education curriculum, promoting healthy lifestyles, and creating a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate is a hard working; team-oriented educator passionate about helping students succeeds academically
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum.
-Plan and conduct engaging physical education classes that promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
-Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
-Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
-Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall educational program.
-Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
-Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
-Knowledge of physical fitness principles, sports techniques, and health education.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours Monday -Friday. The schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Salary:
$175 for 40 school days, followed by salary based on collective bargaining agreement according to degree and experience.
