- Maintain drawings and construction records.
- Review proposed projects with departments and determine feasibility of initial plan in light of what department wants to accomplish.
- Act as liaison with government and regulatory agencies regarding Fling and obtaining all required building permits, licenses, and authorizations.
- Conduct routine inspections of all active job sites and assist in resolution of day-to-day problems associated with project progress.
- Coordinateection, purchase, and installation of all project-related furniture and equipment.
- Ensure project remains within budget, review purchase orders, process check requests and payments to consultants and vendors.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years of construction experience in hospital settings, including 2 years of drafting and design experience.
- Ability to read and use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings.
- Ability to work in precarious or high locations (ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
- Good organizational & interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
