The IU Health North Endoscopy department supports procedures the pediatric and adult patient populations. We provide upper and lower GI procedures, bronchoscopy, motility, and pain management services.

We are a 5-suite department where our nurses collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, anesthesia RNs, and operating room assistants to provide quality care to our patients.

Nursing skills gained on this unit:
Communication skills
Cross-training in Pre-Op, scrub, circulator, and post-procedure recovery roles
In-depth knowledge of anatomy & physiology

Available Shifts:
Full-Time Day | Part-Time Day

Qualifications

Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
