- Work within the Engineering Division to support the checkout, installation, testing, and removal of Temporary Alteration systems at submarine bases in support of US Navy submarines at-sea trials.
- Perform tasks required to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Code 732 Onboard Tracking and Acoustic Vibration Systems Branch activities at headquarters in West Bethesda, MD.

- Perform pre-installation checkout, installation, and testing of temporary alteration systems.
- Provide technical support at the NSWCCD Code 732 Onboard Tracking and Acoustic Vibration Systems Branch.
- Set up test instrumentation, collect and report collected data.
- Assist in the development of system requirements, design specifications, and technical descriptions of the temporary alteration systems.
- Operate temporary alteration systems onboard during pierside availabilities.
- Review test plans, ship alteration drawings, and installation plans.
- Install upgrades to temporary alteration systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair temporary alteration systems.
- Perform acceptance testing for temporary alteration systems.
- Update temporary alteration systems documentation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs to cables.
- Travel to various US Navy installations in the US and overseas to perform dockside support.
- Conduct Pre- and Post- Installation briefs to US Navy personnel.
- Create new and process existing electronic documents.
- Perform delicate solder repairs to electronic equipment.
- Perform logistics activities
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- ASET or US Navy or other military "A" and "C" schools in Electronics or SONAR
- High School Diploma
- Extensive knowledge or experience with temporary installations for US Navy submarines and familiarization with submarine diver operations
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
- US Navy submarine or surface SONAR and other electronics systems
- Leading and managing teams to attain identified goals within stringent constraints.
- Basic mechanical skills typical in a repair environment.
- Working with minimum supervision at the Laboratory test facility and installation sites.
- Clear and succinct oral and written communication with engineering and management personnel
