- Operate all equipment associated with the machine shop. This would include but not limited to the following equipment: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual lathes and mills with conversational programming, drills, broaching, sharpening, and other associated equipment.
- Proficient in using micrometers and precision measuring equipment.
- Familiar with machine fits concerning bearings, ways, clearances, and interference fits.
- Familiar with thread types and fits and the cutting of those threads.
- Keep work space and area clean of all machining chips, garbage, oil and grease.
- Prioritize safety with a focus on using TCOS approaches.
- Read blueprints and ability to redraw and dimension sketches.
- Non-routine hours during nights and weekends may occur, including emergency call-ins.
- Experience in operating machine shop equipment.
- Flexibility to work extra shifts and overtime as needed for outages, maintenance jobs, or shift coverage.
- Overhead crane certification (Will Train)
- Fork truck certification(Will Train)
- Pass hands on test.
- Ability to use CAD
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- G Code programming experience
