Banner University Medical Group is seeking a Transplant Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join our highly trained team of Nephrologists and kidney care staff. Our Nurse Practitioners provide medical management to patients throughout their post-transplant phase of care. This role is focused on outpatient care within our Tucson hospital and clinics. Practice Details:

• 100 % Clinical
• Average 16 patients per day
• Strong camaraderie with colleagues, pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, and social workers
• Educational opportunities: didactic nephrology lectures 3 times a week (one hour each), teaching materials, and faculty training

Work Schedule:

• Mon-Fri | 8-5
• Selected & limited weekend call coverage expected

Qualifications:

• NP/PA experience in Nephrology and/or Kidney Transplant preferred, however specialty experience is highly desirable
• Highly qualified new graduates with related/specialty experience will be considered
• Board Certification required
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
