    Metadata Specialist

    As a key member of our content team, you'll be responsible for watching movies, TV shows, documentaries and other original content on Netflix. Your task will be to assign relevant metadata and tags that help improve the recommendation algorithm. This role requires close attention to detail as well as excellent analytical skills.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques

    A typical day at Netflix consists of analyzing media data while using software tools like Surfacing Engine and TaggerTool 6.0 .This involves reviewing video clips, taking notes about visuals including picture ratings 'watching histories', also more generally assessing quality levels via textual descriptions.
