    Job Title: Behavioral Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

    Job Details:

    • Day Shift / 24 hours per week / Weekend Choice: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

    *This role is situated in a state-of-the-art 50-bed Behavioral Health Hospital unit*


    The CNA is responsible for carrying out essential nursing care procedures under the guidance of a licensed nurse. They follow a customized treatment plan tailored to suit the specific age, requirements, and capabilities of each patient. This includes helping with meals, transfers using correct body mechanics and assistive devices, walking exercises, bathing, toileting, and assisting with dressing and grooming.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) in Connecticut
    • CPR certification
