About the Position: The position is located at Navy Hospital in Pensacola, FL

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

• Analyze validated average monthly data for medical providers.
• Collects and analyzes data to determine the effective applications of Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) standards.
• Collects and consolidates a large statistical database containing quantity and characteristics data for assigned work centers.
• Analyzes and tracks monthly financial data to validate expense and investment codes, program element codes, responsibility center cost codes, and standard elements of expense codes.
• Ensures reported data meets guidance provided and allows for an audit trail for verification.
• Conducts audit/reconciliation at different levels of the MEPRS Program.
• Develops audit criteria to validate compliance for reported clinical inpatient and outpatient workload, personnel time-reporting, and financial reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Serves as the first level supervisor performing supervisory responsibilities, prepares performance plans, evaluates, and prepared formal performance appraisals.
• Maintains information from activities for implementation into Defense Medical Human Resource System-internet (DMHRSi).
