    Description
    Our client, in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Test/Validation Engineer to join their team.

    The ideal candidate will have experience with AD and ADAS systems and Sensors with network troubleshooting experience which will align successfully in the organization.

    Pay Range:
    $48.00-$50.00 Hourly

    What's the Job?


    • Maintain vehicle scheduling, track hardware and software availability to complete tasks on time and minimize vehicle down time.
    • Update and maintain Software and Hardware on dedicated test vehicle to both released and pre-released levels. The ability to flash ECU's, calibrate sensors, and perform ECU readouts is required.
    • Maintain Advanced Driver Assistance System test vehicle and data logging equipment, calibrate sensors, write work orders for workshop to perform sensor replacement, and vehicle updates.
    • Utilize experience in advanced troubleshooting of computer CAN/Flexray/Ethernet based network architectures. Understand back-end systems and vehicle connectivity to troubleshoot and fix vehicle connectivity issues.
    • Systematically test and evaluate the performance of AD/ADAS systems, with a focus on US-market specific conditions. Collect measurement data to identify, analyze and document potential issues found during testing.
    What's Needed?


    • Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Engineering
    • Experience in Engineering Program Management
    • Knowledge of Automated Driving and Driver Assistance Systems and corresponding sensors.
    • Familiarity with vehicle networking architecture (CAN, Flexray, etc.) as well as the ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic and fault measurements to troubleshoot issues.
    • Ability to travel 20% of the time including domestic and international business trips and test drives. This includes test trips that require overnight and weekend travel.
