    At Vivian Health, we are seeking a Travel Sleep Technologist to join our team.

    Job Description & Requirements

    • Specialty: Polysomnographer
    • Discipline: Allied Health Professional
    • Duration: 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week with varying shifts including nights and weekends.

    The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Sleep Technician. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and hold the RPSGT National Certification. State licensure may be required.

    Sleep Technicians must be able to stay alert throughout long night shifts, have excellent attention to detail, and possess strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care in an overnight sleep study setting.


    We work closely with physicians to ensure accurate testing and contribute to patient care by collecting and interpreting sleep-related data. Responsibilities include preparing patients for overnight polysomnographic studies, monitoring physiological responses during sleep using EEG equipment for example along with EOG EMG respiratory oxygen saturation equipment- identifying responding appropriately-to apneas hypopneas arousals ensuring proper documentation maintaining calibrated lab equipment promoting patient safety comfort following infection control privacy standards performing tasks over prolonged periods scoring generating preliminary reports if credentialed.
