SUMMARY:
Under general supervision from the Department Chair Polysomnography, the Adjunct Instructor will function in the role of classroom instructor and is responsible for supervision of students' skills performance, student evaluation, and other aspects of student learning in the classroom or lab setting.
Qualifications (Required and Preferred)
Allied Health credential with 3 years of related experience. Education, training, and experience will need to include the areas of teaching responsibility.
PREFERRED:
Associate of Applied Science or higher degree.
CERTIFICATION OR LICENSES:
Current license or certification in related healthcare field.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
KNOWLEDGE:
Primarily light physical activity is required with occasional lifting and manipulation of objects up to 25 pounds. Keyboarding and computer use. Use of audio/visual devices.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment. Travel to offsite centers may be required.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Hours may vary depending on each semester's schedule.
This is an on-site position. Essential duties of the role must be performed in-person, during prescribed work hours.
