- Supervise all aspects of specialty medical office by utilizing ethics, accountability, confidentiality, resourcefulness, critical thinking and good judgment
- Create and nurture a positive atmosphere of continuing education, cross training, increasing responsibility and excellent patient care
- Coordinate multiple physician schedules to monitor and manage patient flow
- Delegate appropriate duties to staff and follow up to ensure appropriate action
- Plan and facilitate staff motivation & education/certification in accordance with budget and published MVP policies. Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that all staff are properly informed
- Quality assurance including medical record review and medical billing source document auditing to ensure proper billing and compliance with regulations
- Respond to patient, physician, affiliate and staff concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain safe environment through proper maintenance and repair of facility
- Communicate with vendors for cleaning, garbage, snow removal and landscaping per MVP guidelines
- Report any equipment or asset that cannot be repaired for replacement per capital budget
- Ensure all employees comply with HIPAA / HITECH and published MVP policies
- Follow Medicare guidelines with guidance from Director of Patient Accounts
- Ensure all employees complete OSHA & safety training per MVP guidelines
- Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization, including but not limited to standard operating procedures and employee handbook
- Perform various other duties as requested
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional and intentionally hard working

- Skilled at learning new concepts quickly, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Able to express ideas clearly and effectively, both written and orally

Description
As an Office Manager you will manage and coordinate the operational aspects of a multi-doctor Ophthalmology practice. Our Office Managers are responsible for daily operations of the center including staff scheduling and training, patient/doctor scheduling, affiliate relations, compliance, and maintenance of equipment and facility.
Schedule
8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
