    We are a small provider, located in Sinking Spring , that supports a young adult with autism in his own home and community. The Behavioral Technician is an integral member of his team that provides individualized support and skill development in order to promote meaningful connections and allow him to live an every day life.

    We are currently seeking applicants who have availability with the following:

    • After School-Evening hours
    • Weekend hours (Saturdays/Sundays)

    As this is a part-time position, this would be an excellent opportunity for someone working in a school or clinic setting looking to supplement their income by working after school hours or on the weekend.

    A minimum commitment of one shift every other week is required. Extra hours could be available as needed and as your schedule allows, such as over school breaks or to cover for full time staff. Experience with Autism and ABA highly preferred in a school or community setting

    A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or other related field is preferred.

    RBTs, Community Integration Specialists, and Habilitation Aides are encouraged to apply.

    Candidate must have experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disability and following a behavioral plan including the use of safe and positive de-escalation strategies (such as CPI, SAPA, Safety care, or equivalent).

    Priority will be given to candidates with community integration experience including developing community connections that meet the client's needs and interests (hobbies, volunteer opportunities) and maintaining a schedule of day-to-day community activities.

    Our team is supervised by a talented team including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We provide comprehensive, paid training for all our staff.

    Degrees in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work or a related field are preferred. Other degree fields may be considered with the requirement to obtain additional certification within 6 months of employment.

    Experience and knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is needed as well as experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disability.

    Must have a valid PA driver's license with a clean driving record.

    Criminal background check is required.

    Must be able to pass random drug testing.

    Must be able to follow the protocols and procedures that enable the individual to be successful, happy, safe, and live a meaningful life.

    Ability to follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Behavioral Support Plan.

    Must complete data and documentation with accuracy as required.

    Position Requirements and Responsibilities may include:

    • Light cleaning duties for the general daily maintenance of the home such as, but not limited to: snow removal (shoveling) of walkways, sidewalk, and driveway, putting out/taking in trash cans and recycling, retrieving the mail, checking the answering machine and returning calls, outside property maintenance as needed, laundry, and dishwashing.
    • Follow the ethical standards and guidelines as outlined in the training curriculum.
    • Complete required documentation and checklists.
    • Assist consumer(s) in achieving and maintaining independence in his Activities of Daily Living Skills (ADLs) including self-care.
    • Utilize Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and implement the Behavioral Intervention Plan protocols. Provide and perform Safety Care Crisis Prevention techniques as needed.
    • Must adhere to the agency's regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
    • Participate in team training and meetings to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to assist the individual.
    • Provides support during volunteer opportunities and community integration.
    • Maintain proper condition, cleanliness, and safety of the individual's home.
    • Ability to understand and follow supervisory directions.
    • Maintain effective/professional relationships with other staff..
    • Other duties as assigned.
