    Introduction

    System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services.

    Sound pretty important? Absolutely You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    Field Server Hardware Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning and maintenance of server hardware in various client's locations You will be involved in troubleshooting of Server & entry level Storage Products.

    You are expected to work on Cisco, Dell, HP, Lenovo Servers, Entry level Storage/Tape libraries of Lenovo products give the solutions based on any OEM vendor hardware / operating system with little or minimum support from superiors.

    Skills on Server Windows & Linux Operating System.

    Typical examples of the other deliverables would be of troubleshooting skills of server hardware and parts replacement in intel servers.

    Providing technical support and assistance to clients for any server hardware-related inquiries, issues, firmware update and part replacement calls.

    You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.


    Responsibilities:
    Install, Monitor, Configure, troubleshoot and Support the Physical Server including various intel platforms and vendors.
    Manage and monitor troubleshooting skills on highly scalable intel Environment.
    Install, Configure, Test and Update Server Operating Systems and related server-class software.

    Provides technical Support to various clients give Onsite and remote support on hardware, firmware update, part replacement, upgradation, and OS installations.

    You will be expected to provide technical support on critical Server & Storage Infrastructure, to perform maintenance and repairs the breakdown situations.

    Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    5 Years of Experience in Supporting Server & Storage Infrastructure

    Experience in IT infrastructure projects, planning, implementation and administration across required domains, as well as experience in end- to-end IT Operations.

    Diploma or Graduation degree in Computers or equivalent.
    Experience in support of Cisco UCS Servers / Dell Servers / Lenovo Servers / HP Servers/ VMs/ Storage products (Hitachi Storage is preferred)
    Experience on Tape Library Hardware
    Good Knowledge about raid concepts and how to configure it and mange it and troubleshooting skills.
    Good Knowledge of how to download firmware, installed firmware and rollback firmware.
    Experience in working with Windows operating system is required.
    Experience in installing, supporting, and maintaining server and storage hardware.

    Demonstrate Problem Solving & analytical skills in IT Infrastructure domain both IT hardware & software / applications Experience in projects, planning, implementation, and administration in multiple domains.
