    Job Description:

    As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Adolescent Mental Health Outpatient Program, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adolescents and their families. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    - Assessing the physical and mental health needs of adolescent patients.

    - Developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

    - Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.

    - Monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment, documenting observations, and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

    - Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.

    - Collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

    - Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions.

    - Adhering to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice and patient care.

    Qualifications:

    - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.

    - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in adolescent mental health or psychiatric nursing.

    - BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

    - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

    - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    - Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

    - Knowledge of psychiatric medications, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practices in mental health care.

    - Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of adolescent patients and the outpatient program.

    - Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
