    Who We Want

    We are seeking a Content Manager/Specialist who excels at creating, curating, and managing high-quality content across multiple digital platforms. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of content strategy, SEO, and digital marketing, capable of driving engagement and enhancing the brands presence online. The ideal candidate should be a skilled writer and editor with a keen eye for detail, adept at producing content that resonates with varied audiences.

    Working with and reporting to the Marketing Director

    Responsibilities

    1. Develop and manage a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and drives target audience engagement across all digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media.
    2. Plan, create, and oversee the production of engaging content that can be used in marketing or advertising campaigns.
    3. Edit, proofread, and improve writers submissions to ensure the content meets editorial guidelines and adheres to the brands tone and style.
    4. Manage content calendars, keeping track of all content creation activities and ensuring timely publication.
    5. Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize content for search engines, improving visibility and driving organic traffic.
    6. Analyze web traffic metrics to gauge content performance and make content strategy adjustments as needed.
    7. Conduct periodic content audits to eliminate outdated or irrelevant information and ensure compliance with SEO and digital content standards.
    8. Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure a cohesive content strategy across all media.

    Process

    1. Implement content workflow processes from idea generation, research, creation, and publication to performance analysis.
    2. Establish guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all brand content.
    3. Coordinate with internal and external contributors to ensure content is informative, appealing, and reflective of current trends.
    4. Utilize various content management systems to publish and manage content efficiently.

    Project

    1. Oversee specific content initiatives from conception through to execution, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
    2. Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and on-time delivery of content projects.

    People

    1. Manage external contractors and freelancers as needed.
    2. Facilitate training sessions for the content team on SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
    3. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in content creation and management.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
    2. Proven experience as a Content Manager, with a strong portfolio of published articles.
    3. Hands-on experience with MS Office, WordPress or other content management systems.
    4. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail.
    5. Strong understanding of content marketing, content generation, content optimization, and audience engagement.
    6. Proficient in analyzing content performance metrics and using these results to improve existing content strategies and executions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Masters degree in Digital Marketing or related field.
    2. Certifications in Content Strategy, Content Marketing, SEO, or similar.
    3. Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization.
    4. Deep understanding of the latest industry trends and content management technologies.
    5. Skill in graphic design or video production is a significant plus.
