    River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS , is an 84-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful central Jacksonville, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors.

    We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT THERAPIST

    The Child Adolescent Therapist is responsible for obtaining assessments; conducting individual/group therapy on assigned cases; completing documentation per policy and proc edure; case coordination; coordinating discharge planning; assisting in developing and maintaining community resource information; ensuring good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participating in continuing education activities.

    Qualifications

    Applicant must have a Masters degree from an accredited university in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology or related field.

    Must have at least 1 year inpatient experience. Must be license eligible, prefer licensed. Must be familiar with the Baker Act Process for the State of Florida.
